Counter-intuitively, the most famous of all MLB franchises has always been highly conservative. So conservative that the ballclub believed Navy was too frivolous and changed to just plain “black and white” for two seasons. However, they would eventually return to Navy for good during the 1915 season. Note that the logo used is the version designed by Tiffany & Co., giving this fitted even more lore. The best part?
